- Set of 2 orchid baskets for use outdoors or in glass houses. Designed by specialist orchid growers with big holes between the wooden slats to mimic the natural conditions where orchids grow in trees. Please note that these baskets are not intended for use as ornamental indoor orchid pots. They are designed to maximise airflow for orchids growing outdoors like vandas, dendrobiums and cattleyas. - One basket is 10 inches wide and one is 8 inches wide. Pack a number of orchids plants into the baskets so that they hold each other in place or use the included mesh and a well-draining potting medium to pack your orchids in the space
- Suitable for many types of orchids including vandas, cattleyas and dendrobiums. For small root orchids consider adding the mesh in the baskets and then adding some orchid potting mix like bark chips to keep your orchids in place and support moisture retention. For larger root orchids gently thread the roots through the gaps in the bottoms of the baskets
- The baskets are made with strong thick slices of longan wood and held together with thick wire. The wire is covered with white plastic tubing which is an attractive feature and also helps to protect the wires. The long hanging wires are bendable so they can be easily cut with wire cutters if you want the wires shorter
