The 6" Tri-Clamp pressure filtration system is an easy and sanitary way to use filter bags inline with your process. This system uses standard filter bags, trade size 8 (not included)
This filter is designed for high flow rates to filter unwanted precipitates from your oleoresin. The housing provides full enclosure of your filter bags, which are fully supported by the strainer basket within the housing to prevent blowouts. Pressure and high flow rates may be applied to get the fastest flow through filter bags. There are two options to use as drain ports, on the side or the bottom. The bottom port is preferred, but if the application requires a low profile housing, the side port can be used. The housing allows full exhaustion of a bag prior to changing it without the sacrifice in filtering time.
These filter bag housings use a tri-clamp style to allow for high pressure without leakage, while still maintaining an easy to remove cover. When one filter bag gets filled, it can easily be swapped out by removing the lid while not under pressure and pulling the old bag out.
The liquid pump is of 316 Stainless Steel Construction with PTFE seals and runs on compressed air or nitrogen.
