Our pavement marking tape rolls are designed to stripe asphalt & fully cured concrete surfaces, parking garages, warehouse floors, factory floors, roads and any other area where high visibility delineation is needed. Self adhesive, conformable, aluminum based product. Semi permanent or temporary applications. Can be removed. Simple installation procedure. Must be pressed in VERY well to surface. Our affordable pavement tape is mildly reflective. Consists of an alumimum film coated with adhesive on the bottom and coated with paint and reflective glass beads on the top. Holds up to traffic driving straight over it. However, twisting tires can cause it to release. (priming surface with contact cement will enhance adhesion) NOTE - IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS TAPE BE PRESSED ONTO THE SURFACE WITH ENOUGH PRESSURE TO CONFORM IT 100% TO THE SURFACE. OTHERWISE THE TAPE WILL COME BACK UP. ALL EDGES NEED TO BE COMPLETELY ADHERED TO THE SURFACE. SINCE WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE SURFACE THE TAPE IS APPLIED TO AND THE APPLICATION METHOD THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. An automobile tire is best. A golf cart can also be used. Multiple passes are often necessary. To install our striping tape simply apply it to a clean, dry surface and press it on. The temperature should be in excess of 50 degrees. Dry, clean, sun warmed asphalt or cement is ideal. This conforms the tape to the surface and forms a seal that keeps water from getting under the tape. If the surface is so rough that a proper seal cannot be acheived then water will get underneath the tape, cars will roll over it, and this action will force the tape off the surface. Also, avoid applying the tape to damp asphalt or cement. It is best to apply when it has not rained in 48 hours.
